Do you also dream of flying over the sea with a breathtaking view of the Magdalen Islands? We can’t wait to give you this extraordinary experience where the ocean becomes your ultimate playground!
What you need to know before starting :
Duration : 2 hours for a lesson and 1.5 hours for a rental.
Location : Because we want to offer you the smoothest water possible (a true mirror-like sea!), the meeting point is chosen based on the weather. We will send you a text message the day before your lesson to confirm the exact meeting location.
Lesson format : To ensure optimal safety and coaching, we limit our sessions to a maximum of 2 students.
Your own gear : Each student has their own E-FOIL for the entire duration of the session to maximize your flight time and enjoyment.
Rental : To rent without an instructor, you must already have experience on a foil board (E-FOIL, Kitefoil, Wingfoil, Wakefoil, etc.).
The Training Process
Learning to E-FOIL with us means treating yourself to a moment of freedom and fun in a safe environment.
Here are the stages of your session:
Reception and Gearing Up
As soon as you arrive, your certified instructor will be ready to welcome you, get to know you, and discuss the goals for your session. We believe that a caring and personalized approach turns every session into a unique experience.

You will take about 15 minutes to:
Read and sign the risk acceptance form.
Discuss your expectations and skill level with your instructor.
Receive and put on your equipment.
For your comfort and safety, we provide:
5/4 Wetsuit (adapted for the waters of the Islands);
Booties;
Personal Flotation Device (PFD);.
Helmet;
Two-way communication helmet : Used for lessons, these allow us to stay in direct contact with you on the water to guide you in real-time for an optimal and safe learning experience.
Theory : Mastering the Basics and Safety
Before heading into the water, we will spend approximately 30 minutes on the beach to explain how the equipment works:
Foil mechanics : How lift allows you to rise above the water, much like an airplane wing.
Body positioning : How to take positions on your knees and standing on the board.
Wireless remote : How to manage your speed progressively and safely.
Safety : Essential rules for a safe session.

First Ride : Time for Action!
Now that the basics are mastered on land, it's time to hit the water! You will have one full hour to have fun and get used to the electric foil. Your instructor will be right by your side also riding his own E-FOIL to lead by example and stay in direct contact with you via the helmet throughout your progression.
The goal of your first session will first be to master the board and the remote in a kneeling position to achieve your first flights with stability and control. Once you have mastered this stage, you can stand up to try "foiling" on your feet.
Do you want to fly standing up from the very start with maximum stability? Ask your instructor to use the Flitescooter. With its integrated handlebar, it is the ideal option for a stable, reassuring, and gentle first experience.
Your E-FOIL progression: Step by step
Riding on your stomach : We start in a lying position to get used to the board, feel the thrust of the turbine, and test the sensitivity of the wireless remote.
Finding your balance on your knees : Once you are comfortable, you rise to your knees. This is the ideal stage to find your bearings and learn how to steer.
The first takeoff : As soon as your speed is stable on your knees, it’s time to take flight! This is where you will feel, for the first time, that unique sensation of floating above the water.
Standing up : Once kneeling flight is mastered, you will learn how to stand up to navigate on your feet.
Foiling while standing : This is the magical moment where you fly in total freedom, standing up, with a breathtaking view of the coastline.

Back on Land : How Was Your Experience?
After your hour of fun on the water, your instructor will take about 15 minutes with you to review your experience. Together, you will discuss your strengths and areas for improvement for your next session.
Your pace, your success, that’s what a typical first session at Plein Vent looks like: a stress-free moment of discovery. It’s not about how fast you stand up, but about the smile on your face the first time you fly over the water.
